Edge offers leading sustainable and ethical procurement services. Our projects range from developing sustainable procurement policies in support of individual infrastructure projects, through to helping organisations develop overarching sustainable procurement strategies and align with ISO 20400:2017 (Sustainable Procurement).
Within the IS framework, we offer a range of sustainable and social procurement services. This includes sustainable procurement strategies, procedures, policies, reporting frameworks, and supplier engagement tools needed for implementation, such as supplier questionnaires, category management plans, evaluation criteria, and educational materials and training. Our expertise draws on a wide array of previous projects and team members across a range of industries, allowing us to deliver a high quality, cost-effective service.
Sustainability Outcomes
Large scale infrastructure projects can see products and services procured from all over the world, often including materials from sectors and countries know to carry high environmental and social risks. As such, having a robust, sustainable procurement strategy at either the project or organisation level can be a vital tool to manage risk and enhance sustainability outcomes.
Our sustainable and social procurement services are intended to support clients targeting credits within the Procurement categories within ISv2.0 Spr-2, Spr-3, and ISv1.2 Pro-1, Pro-2, Pro-3, Pro-4, including the completion of related credit summary forms. The Sustainable Procurement category can also be targeted as an Innovation Challenge in ISv1.2.
